Updated: Oct 5, 2020

There are so many great places throughout the country to get away with your loved one. Just about every city can boast several locations that will delight your special someone during your romantic getaway. But only a few places can truly be deemed as romantic overall.

Here are the top five romantic destinations in the U.S.:

  1. Napa Valley, California – With gently rolling hills, expansive vineyards with endless rows of grapes, Northern California’s Napa Valley has so many opportunities for world-class wine tasting. Not a wine lover? Not to worry! Peppered throughout the region are top-notch hotels and resorts, offering many romantic amenities such as spa pampering and chic gourmet dining. Simply taking a drive through the countryside and taking in the stellar scenery makes for a savory afternoon. And with San Francisco just a short drive to the south, you can’t get much better than this for a romantic getaway. For more information about Napa Valley, visit https://www.napavalley.com/.

  2. Savannah, Georgia – The South has a unique historical charm. When one thinks of the South, sprawling plantations with large historic homes come to mind. There is so much rich history and gorgeous scenery. That coupled with the laid-back Southern hospitality make for a romantic vacation unlike any other. Walk down Savannah’s streets with Spanish moss hanging over the sidewalks. The best place for shopping, dining and nightlife is River Street.
