I’m Trey Tracy, founder of Trey Tracy Travel — a travel agency based in Madison, Mississippi. For nearly a decade I’ve planned custom international itineraries, luxury cruises, escorted tours, and family-celebration trips for clients across the country, most of whom now travel with me trip after trip.

My Personal Travel Journey

My love for travel began on Southeastern road trips with my father, deepened with a first international trip to England in college, and grew into a family practice when my wife Sarah and I started taking our two children — now nearly grown — on cruises and trips abroad. Three things I learned over those years now sit at the center of how I plan for clients: trips are made or broken in the small details, the right room or cabin matters more than people think, and a well-paced itinerary beats an ambitious one every time.

Where I’ve Spent the Most Time: Alaska and Ireland

Of every region I’ve planned, two stand closest to me: Alaska and Ireland. I plan more itineraries in those two countries than in any others — premium and small-ship sailings up the Inside Passage; private-driver tours through County Clare, the Ring of Kerry, and the lesser-traveled west; multi-day stays at country-house hotels and family-run estates.  If you’re considering a trip to either, you’re working with someone who has built the itinerary from the inside, not from a brochure.

A Personal Missoin Rooted in Family Values

My mother told me, “Travel while you can, because one day you may not be able to.” Both of my parents are gone now, and I carry that line into every itinerary I plan. It’s why I’ll push back when a client tries to compress a trip too tightly, why I’ll recommend the slower itinerary even when the faster one looks better on paper, and why the clients I plan for tend to come back the next year, and the year after.
